October Swapshop on Saturday 8th, 11am to 2pm

Don’t forget that Saturday is Swapshop day. We’ve got lots of baby stuff ready to go out at the start this week: clothes, toys, etc. and a selection of lovely things that have been dropped off at Orinoco over the last month.

Amazingly, half of our members and supporters who completed the Orinoco Survey 2011 have never been to one of our Swapshops. If you’ve never been before, why not come along and see for yourself what fun it is.

The best way to imagine what the Swapshop is like is to picture a car boot sale where no money changes hands, you don’t have to stand around in the cold and everyone is cheerful (okay, most people are cheerful).

It’s all very simple. Bring along anything usable that you no longer want and/ or take away stuff you think you could use. Every month around a tonne of stuff gets taken away to be reused.

The Orinoco cafe will be running and there WILL be samozas this month. Hooray!
