Governance
The day-to-day running of Orinoco is overseen by a Management Committee of volunteers. The committee are elected at the AGM, usually held in November. Additional committee members can be co-opted on to the committee at any time.
The committee meets on the second Monday of the Month. If you are interested in coming to a committee meeting, whether out of interest or because you wish to raise something you are welcome to just turn up, however, if you’d like to let us know email the secretary, howie [at] oxorinoco [dot] org or use the online schedule.
The powers granted to the Management Committee are detailed in the Constitution. The constitution also defines our charitable Objects, which are:

- which will improve conditions of life for such children and adults by promoting their educational, physical, mental or spiritual well-being; and
- to promote the use of waste things into playthings.
Our Area of Benefit is Oxfordshire.
