Map and Directions

Orinoco is adjacent to the Bullingdon Community Centre at the end of Peat Moors (off the Slade). We can be easily reached by bus and by car. We are a twenty minute walk from the Headington Shops.  Click the map for a larger version or use Google Maps (below) [ Go to Google Maps ]

The nearest bus stops are on The Slade – less than five minutes away on foot.

The Oxford Bus Company runs two services along the Slade: the City 4 which goes between the city centre and Wood Farm and the U5 (Brookes Bus) which goes between the city centre, Headington and Cowley.

The 700, operated by RH Buses, runs between Kidlington and the Churchill Hospital. If you jump off at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Hospital (at the junction of Windmill Road, Old Road and the Slade) you can walk to the store in about ten minutes.

If you are travelling to Orinoco by car, we have a car park which is free for your use. Although large enough for our purposes on most days, the car park can become congested on Swap Shop days (the second Saturday of the month) and you may need to park nearby and walk. Although there are no parking restrictions in the streets surrounding Orinoco, please be considerate and take care not to block our neighbours driveways.

Warning for SatNav users

Our postcode, OX3 7HS will bring you to Peat Moors correctly but will tell you that you’ve arrived before you get to Orinoco. Don’t panic, just keep driving down Peat Moors to the end of the road.
