Orinoco Update
Monday 11th December 2006
The last Saturday of the Year…
This Saturday, 16th December, will be the last day of the year for
Orinoco. We’d like to mark the occasion, celebrate a successful year and
give all of our members the opportunity to escape the mad consumerism and
consumption of Christmas for a moment. How can we do this? By making
Christmas decorations, eating mince pies and being generally festive between
the hours of 10am and 4pm.
We’ve been holding on to some very special gold, shiny paper that is
perfect for making giant paper chains and it will be available on Saturday
along with our amazing gold and silver wrapping paper, the unnaturally
coloured pot pourri and all the usual rubbish. Plus, we’re cutting the price
of our ReConnect games from £5 to £3 for the day. [Find
out more about ReConnect]
We’ll have the mince pies warming and I hope to see you there. Carol
singing is optional but encouraged.
We’ll be closed from Saturday 23rd December to Saturday 6th January
inclusive. |
