Neat and tidy at last
We've finally got back on top of everything following the chaos of
Christmas. Well done to all members who bravely continued to shop at the
store in spite of the mess.
The new Orinoco leaflets and calling cards are now back from the
printers. Please help yourself to a supply and tell all your friends,
family, work colleagues, playgroup, school... all about us.
If you've been waiting for a membership card to arrive, it was posted
this morning and will be with you shortly. |

Just in... but they won't be here for long...
Imago Press have donated a heap of their unwanted book blanks. In other
words, a big pile of beautiful hard backed books with blank pages of high
quality art paper inside. These are practical and beautiful, great for
note-taking, sketching and scribbling.
Scrapstore price (members only) £1 a book - all sizes (even the cloth
bound A4 one that's 10cm thick and has gold leaf on the pages).
On sale in store from Saturday 27th January. |

Catch the tube
Giant tubes 10cm across and 50cm long with plastic caps that fit snugly
in the ends. Great for storing posters and paintings but also for making
drums, trees, rainmakers... 40p each or 3 for £1 |
 |
Child-safe Paint
Ready mixed paint is getting more popular these days at the expense of
powder paint. Shame. Powder paint is more fun, messier, and can be mixed
with all kinds of interesting things (like PVA) to change its properties.
We've got a selection of funky powder paint ready for you to mix. 50p for an
ice-cream tub full (we supply the ice-cream tub too). |

 |
and...
Loads of leather and sheepskin off cuts (scrap), paint mixing buckets
with lids (50p), useful little plastic pots (scrap), more children's
bikes... |
 |
Boxing Clever (the Crate Escape)
As part of our ongoing reorganisation of the store we're buying in a
stock of high-density plastic crates with lids. These things are amazing,
practically indestructible and perfect for storing and transporting scrap,
paint, well anything.
So, would you like some? The crates are going to cost us £12 each
including VAT and delivery. We'll let members have them at cost. If you'd
like some, send us an email.
Specifications: external size - 600x400x310; internal size - usable
height 307mm, capacity 55 litres, weight 3.0kg; top 546x370mm; base
515x348mm. |
