Scrappy Design
A group of students from the Design Department of Middlesex University
will be working at the scrapstore this Saturday
(21/04/07) to solve some tricky design problems using scrap. Their
work will form the basis of the scrap activity boxes that we will soon be
delivering across the County. Come along if you would like to join in,
watch or set them a problem. |

Focus DIY have done it again
This week Focus DIY announced that they were discontinuing one of their
wallpaper ranges. We've got a van full (over 300 rolls). Yours for 50p each. |

New supplies of Forex Foamboard
We've just collected another van full of this versatile PVC construction
material. We've got a range of sizes, thicknesses and colours. If you know a
Design or technology teacher, tell them about this... they'll thank you. |

Swap Shop Success
There was a slightly lower turnout for this month's Swap Shop (98 people
instead of 150). We accepted 550kg of stuff and the swappers took away
290kg. We donated 120kg to charity, sent 40kg for recycling and had to send
100kg to landfill. The next Swap Shop will be on
Saturday May 12th. You can download a flyer to print out or email to
all your friends at:
www.oxorinoco.org/swapshop. |
