It's all a bit hectic
There's a lot going on at Orinoco at the moment, and... It's all a bit
hectic. Lots of fun though. In summary: grant aid from the Doris Field Trust
and the Gannet Foundation have allowed us to completely refit the store with
new shelving and crates for the scrap and paint. Additional funding from the
Oxfordshire Communities Foundation is going to allow us to open new paint
and scrap outlets across Oxfordshire. Watch this space to find out where.
The new look store is amazing, but you have to see it to believe it... I'll
post some pictures.
Moving on...
It's a Bank Holiday and it's going to rain, so it's a good job Orinoco
will be open. Come on over on the Bank Holiday Monday to shop and join in
with our Headington Festival Workshop 'Down on the Farm'. We'll be making
masks and model animals and generally having a good time. If you can't make
Monday, don't forget we'll be open on Tuesday as usual.
The Netting is here
Howie picked up new netting on Thursday along with lots of lovely FLAME
(pay attention Cowley Road Carnival People) coloured nylon, lace, paper...
Get to the store if you want some, this will sell fast. |
