Featured Artist

If you have been through Wolvercote recently you may have noticed the Orinoco inspired 'improvements' to the traffic light on the canal bridge. The traffic light is now wearing a wool 'traffic-light-cosy' made by joining together a number of sweater pieces together. The sweater pieces, donated by Maggie White of Burford along with yarn and new clothes; are still available in the store.

If you and/or your work made with Orinoco materials is featured in an update you will receive FREE SCRAP vouchers. Email your pictures now.

Headington Festival Fun

Thanks to everyone who stopped to play at the Headington Festival. Once again we had a great time and built lots of amazing things.

New Stock

A big thank you to Choice Tiles of Windmill Road, Headington for passing on a load of delightful tiles once again. This latest batch is an interesting mix that includes some lovely brightly coloured tiles and will particularly appeal to anyone who fancies a bit of mosaic work.

Little Boxes on the hillside and they're all flat-packed and made of cardboard. Various sizes. Great for teaching about, er, boxes. Also, toilet roll dispensers (don't ask).

More interesting book-binder's waste. This is offcutts from the spine making process, it's a kind of waxed cardboard and you can weave, knit and stick it.

Plenty of sticky pad stamper kits available and refills of the sticky pads themselves and classroom packs.

New stocks in the ArtShop including these lovely chunky pencils, PVA and Reeves paint.

Foam sheets (approx. 2.5m x 1m) in a range of colours and thicknesses. Great for building things out of, for use as comfy mats, to print with, to keep the floor clean, etc.

Nice fabric for the bedrooms and play cushions of our younger members. We've got teddies, rainbows and scary snakes. No, sorry, the snake is a kite.

Scary snake kites and foam for stuffing things. Big rolls of white and cream fabric (2.5m x 40m on the roll or we're selling it in 10m lengths off the roll - 50p a metre). Cardboard tubes are back in stock with more on the way.

1/4" tape on reels. Great to play with or alternatively, use them to learn Polish, French, Serbo Croat, etc
